By studying this course you are learning how to read wrinkles in metal to know what is truly high and what is truly low. That alone is the goal because if you don't truly know then the myriad of illusions you will face is daunting. Fixing dents on metal that has a mirror surface is like staring into a kaleidoscope and determining what is high and low. You need to learn how to make sense of this topography and choose what to push or tap first, second, etc. How and what you push and tap with is vital to know and what I hope to convey in all my content.
